Brambles the border collie lived until the ripe old age of 25 years (189 Dog years) making him the Guinness world records oldest living dog. The secret to his long life was linked to the quality of his diet.

Brambles Secret has developed a signature recipe offering a subscription-based service, delivering healthy sustainably sourced dog food directly to conscious dog owners. Brambles Secret is set to change the way people think about their dog's diet.

The Objective:

Visual and verbal identity and a suite of supporting collateral that reflects the client's style and vision.

The Opportunity:

Love Letters Studio were tasked to create the identity for Bramble's secret targeting, health-conscious dog owners, in a digital environment. The challenge was to convey the companies ideals when it comes to redefining health in the dog food market. Crafting an easily recognisable identity, transferable across multiple touchpoints.

The Outcome:

One of Bramble's main objectives was showing that they serve homemade human-quality dog food. With this in mind, Love Letters Studio took inspiration from traditional block print style illustrations and hand-rendered typefaces. The blue & yellow colour scheme comes from the spectrum of light that dogs actually see the world in. Making this suite of branding collateral something even the doggo's can appreciate.

Campaign:

With our end consumers being four-legged friends, I wanted to find a way to engage directly with them whilst empathetically connecting with their owners. We produced a set number of branded tennis balls that would be distributed in a nearby park. Those balls found and returned by dogs/their people, to our centrally located and branded food truck would receive a takeaway goodie box full of brambles secret treats, product information as well as a sample of the dog food.

This strategy allowed the client to tap directly into the 'dog walking' community. The mobility and flexibility of the campaign would also allow the client to target appropriate areas/events all year round organically creating engaging social media content and digital means of promotion whilst maintaining a consistent/playful tone of voice.

Client Testimonial:
